Spam Policy

1. Our commitment

Ailo Pty Ltd and its related parties (Ailo or we, us) do not advertise ailo.io (http://ailo.io/) using unsolicited messages. We do not send, authorise, commission, pay for, or tolerate spam. We comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Communication is one of the core tenets of the Ailo Platform allowing multifaceted and technologies connected collaboration around the property management relationship within the platform and app as customised by the user for their needs.
This policy covers email, SMS, and in-app messaging across ailo.io, ailo.app, ailo.pm, ailomail.io, ailohq.com, and their subdomains.

2. What we don't do

  • buy, rent, lease, or otherwise acquire third-party mailing lists
  • conceal or falsify the sender's identity, originating address, headers, or routing
  • send through open relays, compromised hosts, or infrastructure spread across domains or IP addresses to evade filtering ("snowshoeing")

3. Marketing and transactional messages

Ailo’s practices are that:
  • Marketing messages - identify Ailo as the sender, use accurate subject lines and sending addresses, and carry a free, working unsubscribe link that we honour within five working days. Where we find a message has not met this standard, we fix the cause.
  • Transactional messages - one-time passcodes, security alerts, payment confirmations, rent statements, and similar - go to people who hold an Ailo account or transact using the Ailo Platform. They are sent to provide the service asked for, not to promote Ailo, and carry no unsubscribe link. They are not commercial electronic messages under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). We do not use them to carry marketing content; a message that combines the two is treated as marketing.

4. Our sending domains

All Ailo mail is authenticated with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, and our DMARC policy is published at _dmarc.ailo.io.
Any message claiming to come from an Ailo domain that does not pass SPF and DKIM alignment was not sent by us. We monitor DMARC reports continuously and report abuse of our domains to the relevant network and blocklist operators.

5. Reporting Spam

We encourage the reporting of unsolicited messages advertising Ailo, or mail that appears to come from an Ailo domain and looks fraudulent, to abuse@ailo.io. Please include full headers. We investigate every report.
