Memberships are optional. You can use the Ailo Platform and pay rent at no cost without one. Start with Ailo Everyday for free, or choose a paid membership for more help.

Regular expenses should not demand the same time and attention every time they come around.
With Ailo Plus or Ailo Global, you can pay eligible home expenses through the Ailo Platform, set them to pay automatically and choose from more ways to pay, alongside everything else your membership includes. Rent can always be paid at no cost by direct debit, bank transfer, PayID or Centrepay, with or without a membership.
Depending on your membership, you can pay expenses, automate payments and choose from additional payment options. More specifically, the Ailo Plus tier includes access to eligible Australian debit and credit cards, while Ailo Global adds eligible international cards.

Ailo Memberships help you with the planning, expenses, payments and important tasks that come with managing a home. Ailo Everyday is free. Ailo Plus and Ailo Global are paid memberships with additional tools and payment options.
Who can join?
Ailo Memberships are currently available to renters who have been invited to use the Ailo platform in connection with a tenancy managed by their agency. Once you have access, you can view and choose available memberships in the app.
What is included in each membership?
Ailo Everyday includes free tools to help you plan ahead and stay organised - savings goals, personal bills, expense tracking, and moving and inspection checklists. Ailo Plus adds paying and tracking eligible expenses, automatic eligible payments, and eligible Australian debit and credit cards. Ailo Global includes everything in Plus, plus eligible international cards and translation support in more than 50 languages.
How much does membership cost?
Ailo Everyday is free. Ailo Plus is 0.95% of your rent payment. Ailo Global is 3.99% of your rent payment. Before you choose, you’ll see what your membership includes, what it costs and when you’ll be charged.
Why is the price linked to rent?
So it is fair. Homes with higher rent usually come with more bills, higher bills and more to manage. Linking the price to rent means renters in lower-rent homes pay less and renters in higher-rent homes pay a little more. You see your exact price as part of joining.
When will I be charged?
Before you confirm, you’ll see what you’ll pay and when you’ll be charged. Your membership price does not change based on whether or how often you use an eligible card.
Can I change or cancel?
Yes. Start with Ailo Everyday at no cost, choose a paid membership when it suits you, or change or cancel in the Ailo app. Already a member? You can check your membership and what you pay at any time in the Ailo Platform.
What happens to automatic payments if I cancel?
Before you confirm a change or cancellation, you’ll see whether it affects an existing automatic payment - so you know what will happen next.
Do I need membership to use Ailo or pay rent?
No. You can use the Ailo Platform and pay rent at no cost without a membership. Memberships are optional and add tools and payment options for people who want more help managing their home.
Does membership affect my tenancy or property-manager service?
No. Membership has no effect on your tenancy or your relationship with your property manager. It does not provide priority or preferential treatment for tenancy matters. Memberships simply give you access to optional tools to help run your home.
Which cards can I use?
Ailo Plus includes access to eligible Australian debit and credit cards. Ailo Global adds eligible international cards. Free rent payment options - direct debit, bank transfer, PayID and Centrepay - remain available to everyone, with or without a membership.
