What's New in Ailo
6 FEBRUARY 2025
Your built in bills proof-reader is getting smarter đ
â
Auto-check letting fees as you enter them (coming soon!)
The platform will give you a warning (check it out đ) if the letting fee entered looks not quite right â e.g. if the letting fee is between 5-10 weeks â before you create the new fee template.
Next up: Weâll apply the same safety net for when you are adding recurring or manual fees or when you are editing manual or flat letting fees.
â
Easily identify duplicate draft bills
We already check for duplicates on published bills, but we get this isnât enough for larger offices who process 500+ bills each week across multiple team members and virtual assistants. Now, we extend this to draft bills too â and weâve moved the warning to the top of the screen.
â
Create bills faster when customer reference is the only field you have (coming soon!)
If the property address is complicated, soon you can auto-populate who is paying the bill using their CRN instead of trying to remember their property address. đ
TRUST ACCOUNTING
Less time on the books, more confidence in the ledgers
â
Vacate date along with the amount owed/overpaid is now displayed when creating trust receipts!
Trust accountants, now you know how much to receipt or transfer towards rent and how much to receipt towards a deposit or keep on the tenancy ledger to be refunded back.
đ€© Lisa D in Canberra, this is for you!
â
Search by transaction amount in trust accounting
Now you donât have to scroll through months and months of transactions to find that one tricky one!
đ€© Shout out out to Kerry J. in North Ryde!
â
Reverse a transaction from the previous month without having to unlock the month! (coming soon!)
đ€© Vicky N from Bondi, this one is in testing and is out very soon!
Shh! Secret Squirrel đżïž
Every once and while, weâll take a peek at our roadmap and share a sneaky glimpse of a new feature weâre building that our customers asked for. Just donât tell the product managers đ â Liz & Emma from Marketing
So long ugly spreadsheet, hello fancy dashboard
Tony and the data team are getting very close to give your Reporting tab a serious makeover to make it easier for business owners and team leads to drill down into performance.
Think: interactive, visual reporting in Ailo versus plain but functional .csv file!
Here's a sneak peak of what it might look like that we pinched from an internal presentation this week. đ
