What's New in Ailo

7 August 2025

Daily rent frequency is here 📆

Managing short stays or holiday rentals? You can now set up tenancies with a daily rent frequency. This one’s been high on the wishlist for agencies in places like the Whitsundays (👋 Kim in Cannonvale).
  • Available by request only
  • Rent due and overdue notifications are automatically disabled for daily tenancies (we’re not sending daily nags)
  • Renters will still get payment confirmations (if paid via Ailo Pay) or receipts (if paid via trust)
👉 If you want this turned on for your agency, reach out to your Account Manager.

New Bill Categories: Water & Electricity Usage 💧⚡️

We’ve now added these additional categories to help capture usage separately from rates. This will give agencies more flexibility in how they track and report on utilities.
🤩 Wendy from Mount Lawley (WA) – Thanks for the nudge!

AI-powered inspections now support Insta360 X5 📷

If you’re using the latest Insta360 X5 for your 360 inspections (or thinking about it), good news — it now works seamlessly with Ailo’s mobile app. No new steps. No new training. Just plug in and go.
👉 You can buy the camera here: Insta360 X5

updates you asked for

It's the little things

1. Investor names now included in the 'Predicted Monthly Management Fee' download 📈

This report now contains everything a valuer would need. PS: We’re renaming the report next week to make that use case even clearer.

2. Reason for gaining management now visible 📝

You’ll now see the “gained reason” field in the management details sidebar. Super helpful when reviewing how a management was won. Another popular request!

3. Rent payment confirmation for renters 💌

Renters who pay via an Ailo-issued ‘personal account’ will now get a confirmation email.

4. My actions: due date filter fix 🧹

We’ve fixed the annoying bug that closed the filter menu after every selection. Now it stays open until you click away — like it should.

5. Assignee lists now sorted alphabetically 🔡

When selecting an assignee for a project or action, the list is now in A-Z order. Because, well, logic.
