Bond ledger chaos in trust accounting? Not on our watch. 🧾

If you’re reconciling everything through one big ‘Bond authority’ ledger in the trust account, you know how tricky it can be to keep track of who owns what. From now on, Ailo automatically creates a unique bond ledger for every tenancy.
  • New receipts allocating bond lodgement funds will now go into the tenancy’s own bond ledger, not the all-in-one ledger also known as the ‘Bond authority’ ledger
  • Create ledger disbursements directly from the tenancy bond ledger. The Payee field will even get prefilled with the bond authority information (for ACT, SA, VIC and WA)
  • See the balance before you disburse, so you can easily spot if something doesn’t look right
  • No more double-lodging or missing funds, just clean books and a clear audit trail
This is especially game-changing for bigger agencies juggling lots of bonds.
🤩Ray and Beatrice in Oakleigh, VIC and Olivia in Darwin, NT - we know you’ll love this one!

Redact emails without raising a support ticket ✂️

Uber Eats receipt, birthday invite, pharmacy script… Some emails weren’t meant for the whole team. If one sneaks into your shared inbox, you can now remove it – no support ticket needed.
  • You can redact a single email or the whole email thread
  • Redacted emails will still show in the your personal inbox
  • Redactions can’t be undone – we’ll ask you to confirm before anything is removed.
  • This only works on emails.
By default only admins can redact, but they can open it up to the rest of the team if needed. Simple and in your control 👇

Renters can now manage their rent reminders 🔔

There’s a new Notifications section under Profile in the renter app, where renters can choose to turn email and push notifications off:
  • Upcoming rent – sent 2 days before it’s due
  • Rent due today – sent on the day
  • Overdue reminders stay on – these can’t be turned off
Rent reminders will continue to be enabled by default for all renters.
