Paying rent outside of the Ailo platform

The payment methods available via the Ailo platform are offered in addition to other methods offered by your agency. For example, the Ailo platform also allows your agency to manage and account for payments into its trust account.
Your agency may choose to offer its trust account as an alternative fee-free payment method, which also allows for accepting cash and cheque payments.

Bill payment options

The Ailo platform offers a range of payment methods to investors to cover fees and property expenses. Each option offers a different experience and some have associated service fees.
For investors, paying bills using rental income does not incur any service fee. For renters, paying bills via direct debit does not incur any service fee.
Typically, a debit card transaction incurs a 0.95% fee, Visa or Mastercard payments incur a 1.5% fee, and for investors paying bills with direct debit incurs a 0.25% fee.
We’re currently reviewing our payment methods for bills, and as a result have placed a waiver on all service fees for bill payments for the time being.
