We sat down with George Southwell, the CEO of Ray White Rural Canberra/Yass to talk about how Ailo has helped him find his agency's point of difference.
We’ve got a very unique community. We’ve got about a thousand properties under management in our market. What we need is not new property managers, not new energy from people, we need better property management. That’s what Ailo provides to us via the systems, the communication and mainly the refreshing way for people to be able to pay and receive their rent. That seems to be very powerful and our landlords have taken to it like a duck to water.

How has Ailo helped with staff recruitment?
We struggle to compete with the Canberra jobs market that is only 45 minutes away. Our recruiting strategy was quite unique by being… the same as everyone else!
Put out the ad, get the applicants, have a cup of tea with them, see how they drank their tea and what that led to and we would have a conversation with them about what we could bring them as an office and as a leader in a business. It was exactly the same as anyone else.
So what we then led into was taking Ailo on board. It meant we could use Ailo as a recruiting strategy.
