We caught up with Felicity Apps, Business Development Manager at Ray White Goulburn (NSW), to learn about her Ailo experience and how it’s not only transformed her day-to-day, but the confidence of her team too!
How has Ailo improved your team’s confidence?
I feel like my team is a lot more confident within themselves because Ailo has made our day-to-day such a seamless process. We're really loving Ailo’s My Actions at the moment!
Tamara, our receptionist, helps out a lot with the admin side of things for the girls, so being able to use those actions and assign them to people is great! And it's a great way for Liz (Business Manager) to track things as well.

I think Ailo really helped us - we've always been a great team, and we've had a few staff changes, but we're in a really great place at the moment. I think we work better as a team having Ailo in place because before we used to use pen and paper, with emails back and forth - trying to find notes in a legacy system. Ailo is just a lot better when we need to bounce off each other!
I think if you spoke to any of the girls, they'd all say that they're happy now that we made the change.
How has Ailo strengthened your sales pitch?
[when talking to prospective investors], I always talk about the transparency that we offer - Ailo is so open, there’s nothing that you can't see. I can’t lie to you about where your tenant has paid up to. You can see that yourself, so there's no sugar coating it.
I always spruik the fact that [as an investor], you've got the option to pay those bills and you're seeing when those bills are coming in and going out, so nothing can be tucked under the rug - it's all there for them to see.
I also talk about the benefits of Ailo Chat a lot. We've really embraced that feature a lot more in the last few months and we’re trying to make sure a lot of our communication goes through Chat to ensure everything is stored there on Ailo. People are loving that as well.
How has Ailo changed the way you hire?
[The talent pool is a lot wider now], as Ailo opens roles up a lot more to lesser skill sets. Ailo is just a lot easier to learn.
There are also great [Ailo} training programs online with all the videos and information in the Help Center.
Tamara, our receptionist has been with us for a few months now. She used to be in property management 10 years ago (in strata management). She has come the legacy systems, and [when she saw Ailo], she was like ‘wow, this is a a game changer’.. from when she used to be in the industry.

How has Ailo helped you to deliver a better service to your investors?
[For investors], we only used to do mid-month payments and end of month. Now we’ve we've got landlords that are on daily [payments], so as soon as their money hits, it's out again.
With Ailo, they're also able to log on and see all of their important information a lot easier, they can see when their tenants pay to what's happening with bills.
A lot of investors also love using their credit cards to earn flyer [rewards] points and things like that!
How has Ailo made your day-today easier?
I’m just not going between screens anymore. I aways work off a dual screen and I used to be bouncing between Gmail and other systems. Now both screens just have Ailo, with Chat always open.
Ailo is also great for other team members when you're off and they’re trying to find something. All the information you need is in Ailo and Chat, its in the one place now, so they don't have to jump onto your emails to try to find something.
Our business manager, Liz, absolutely loves Ailo too because she can see what's going on. If she gets a phone call, she can go in and say, “I can see you guys have talked about this, and this has been done.”
