Can you share a little bit about your experience using Ailo?
At Stone Real Estate in Port Macquarie, we're all about maximising the opportunities for investors and having great communication with our tenants. I've been working in property management for four years, and I was with previous agencies before coming to Stone.
We've got a new fresh approach to property management and being backed by software with Ailo, I think that that's our point of difference. I think that it's a new, fresh approach to something that's sort of a bit outdated.
Ailo allows investors to have their property and information in the palm of their hands. I've heard other people say it's similar to the difference between getting a taxi and getting an Uber – other than standing at the front and waiting for a taxi to come to you, you can see exactly what's happening and when to be prepared.
What do you think about using Ailo?
It makes me feel excited. It really does. It is something that I've never seen before, something that no one in the local area has seen before. It is a point of difference that where it's backing us to be able to grow our business.

What are the benefits to you of using Ailo?
From a BDM's perspective, it's great having something that people haven't seen before - that I'm very excited about, and that they can get excited about. Taking a phone and a laptop to a presentation and showing them exactly how it works in the real world - I think that it's a really strong point of difference.
Ailo allows us to be customer-focused and not be dragged down by admin. And being a BDM is not always an easy role. It's something that's exciting to the people that you're speaking to... Ailo drums up that excitement and gives us a point of difference.
What do you like about managing your projects on Ailo?
The customisation of projects I think is really important. I'm very process driven and having a system that works for me in the sense that I can know that my processes are going to be uniform from one property to the next and regardless of what stage that I'm at, we're all going to have the same result. Knowing that whatever spanner gets thrown in the works and whatever phone call I get when I do get back to that process, I know exactly where I'm up to.
Do you have any advice for someone thinking about using Ailo?
I would definitely change to Ailo. I think that it makes your day-to-day more uniformed, keeps you accountable. It's a process driven software that is customisable and works for the individual person or the individual agency and how they operate.
